FS183

I've been thinking about this card all week. This is the card I used for inspirationhttp://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1679906?&cat=500&ppuser=193158
I used the Inspired by Nature stamps from SU, Bashful Blue cardstock, black and Bashful Blue ink. I found my sponge daubers today and they have been my favorite accessory today. DP and ribbon from my stash. Does anybody every really keep track of where they get all this stuff?

SC293

The day sure goes by fast when you stay in bed until almost 11am. Oh well. Here is my card for Splitcoast SC 293. I stole somebody's idea to use each sketch challenge to make a Christmas card. That way no 2 are the same and I don't have to sit down in October and try to decide what I am going to do. I used an old CTMH stamp Oh Christmas Tree. I inked it with CTMH Ponderosa Pine and then sponged with the same color. I colored it with colored pencils (WANT COPIC MARKERS!!) I sponged the edges with SU Soft suede and CTMH Desert Sand. I used Real Red cardstock, some green corrugated paper I had in my stash, Over the Moon DP. The edger is from Fiskars. The ribbon is from my stash. I love the way it turned out. Thanks for stopping by.

FS169 for Splitcoast

I am so frustrated!!. I have not been able to upload to Splitcoast for weeks. They keep telling me that my picture is too big. It's the same camera and same size picture I have always used. GRRRR. So I will post it to my blog. This is the card I made from Stephanie's inspiration

A Day of Firsts

I have been without water for 2 days and yesterday the belt on my vacuum cleaner broke. So I can't do laundry or dishes and I can't vacuum. So I went to my studio. I had seen this idea somewhere and I had the perfect frame so I went through some old pictures and this is what I came up with. The picture is of me at 10 months old. The background is the Sew Nice scraps from Crafty Secrets. The lace I got from a garage sale over the weekend. This is my first rolled rose, I have been wanting to try it for a while. I used a 2" punch to make the circle. I have to figure out how to hold them together. I think I cut my circle things too close together and made them too skinny. The rose is sprayed with Vanilla Smootch Spritz. The leaves are cuttlebugged. The ribbon and buttons are from my stash. I had the nerve to hang this on the livingroom wall of all places!! Thanks for taking the time to look today.

FS174

This is the card I made for today's featured stamper. Here was my inspiration: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1604804?perpage=36&thumbsonly=0&thumbcheck=. The background paper is from Miss Elizabeth (Dollar Tree). The image is from Crafty Secrets Sew Sweet scraps. Lace is fromn Joanne's. The card base is Mellow moss. The lace is backed by Chocolate chip. The rose is the first paper rose I have made. The leaves are Cuttlebug emboss and die Pumpkin spice. Hey, leaves are leaves. I changed the sentiment too. Thanks Nikki for a great gallery to choose from.

Mom's Bday Card

Here is a card I made for my mother's birthday. It's going to nr lsre because I just made it this morning and her birthday is Tuesday. Bad daughter. I used Wild Wasabi as the card base and stamped the flower in Wild Wasabi all over it. I can't find my Versamark pad, probably time to clean off the table again. The ribbon is from Debbi Mumm. I used on of the Cuttlebug die and emboss I got from Big Lots to make the flower. Mom's favorite flower is a daisy.

More Henry

This is Henry doing what Henry does best. He is not a high energy dog. However, he is a high maintenance dog. We found out he does not have some separation anxiety, he has sever separation anxiety. I cannot keep him in a crate, he gets out. We put him in the garage and he ate the door. My hisband and I have bee trying to work out our schedules so that we are not gone at the same time but sometimes that is not possible. So I read everything I could find on separation anxiety and called in a behaviorist. It turns out that Henry thinks he needs to take care of us. We have to become Alpha dogs in order for Henry to not worry about us when he can't see us. So we are working on this. Hopefully Henry will learn to be content at home by himself. I learned a lot from the behaviorist, esprecially how to think like a dog. Here I thougt my dog, Wilson, followed me around all the time because he loved me, turns out he just feels responsible for me. What a blow to my ego.
